Weather + Current Conditions

The weather in this area is truly unpredictable. Plan for varied conditions.

The region sees quick changes of weather along with a variety of conditions depending on where you are. Even the short drive from Nordegg to Abraham Lake can make the difference between being in a storm and a sunny day.

Finding a reliable weather forecast for the region can be a challenge, mainly due to the lack of weather stations available to forecasters covering a large a diverse region. We use Windy and SpotWx as our main forecasting tools since they provide more localized forecasts once you become familiar with their features and the region.
