Red Deer Market Tour

Discover local food
Book Now

Central Alberta in the summer means farmer's and public markets. Head out with Chef Mike Ubbing to discover local food and unique vendors.

The Market at Red Deer has been a Saturday morning tradition for 49 years. Find out why people come to this busy outdoor market each week, the stories behind your food, how to pick the best veggies and a few meal ideas along the way.

We get an early start, heading out before the market gets busy and then we have a chance to chat with many of the producers themselves. The vendors we visit varies from week to week and by market but the tour usually includes 5 to 8 of our favourites.
