We offer a lot of great options with our guided hikes but we understand that sometimes you’re looking for something a little different. There’s a lot of amazing options in David Thompson Country and Central Alberta.

Our custom day hikes can accommodate larger groups on our regular trails, trails like the ones featured below or a combination of experiences in the area. Please note that we do not offer scrambling or mountaineering tours.

Let us know which adventure you’re interested in and we’ll put together a quote for you.

Popular Options

Allstones Lake

A steep hike for those looking for a challenge, Allstones Lake offers great views on the way up and a pleasant lake as our destination.

Shunda (Baldy) Mountain

The closed dirt road makes for an easy ascent to the fire lookout overlooking Nordegg. Views from the top stretch from the flatlands to the east all the way into the front range of the rockies and Abraham Lake.

Allstones Creek

You’re guaranteed to get wet as we make our way up the creek, crossing it multiple times until we reach a pretty waterfall. This tour is a great option on the hot days of July and August.

The Siffleur Benches

A different option on the Kootenay Plains, this trail follows the benches overlooking the Siflleur River with great views of the North Saskatchewan River and surrounding peaks.
