These tours are self guided and flexible to allow you to plan your adventure, just the way you want it.

This tour is self guided. You must be comfortable being in a remote setting on your own after the helicopter drops you off.

This tour is owned and operated by Rockies Heli Canada.

Where to Meet

Check-in with Rockies Heli Canada at their David Thompson Country base located in Cline River. Get Directions >

You must arrive at the base at least 30 minutes prior to your flight time.

Departure Time and Private Tours

When booking your flight select a departure day and a return date (select the same day for single day trips). Let us know in the booking form your preferred departure time and preferred pickup time for the return flight.

This tour is not private and additional guests may be joining you.

What to Bring

You must have all the equipment you will require for your adventure. There is no guiding outside of the flights.

What's Included

  • This tour is provided by Rockies Heli Canada and include flight time.

What's Not Included

  • Souvenir photos, custom stops, transportation to the heliport or any other special requests.

Group Size

The group size is usually 3 to 6 passengers depending on the helicopter used. Multiple flights can be arranged for larger groups.

Weather Cancellations

You must confirm your departure the morning of the tour directly with Rockies Heli Canada at 1-888-844-3514. In the event of bad weather your tour may be re-scheduled directly with the operator or refunded by contacting us.

You must be prepared for the risk of your return flight being delayed due to inclement weather.

Terms and Conditions

Please note that guests over 250 lbs and guests that are not able to physically fit into the seat provided may be charged for an additional seat. You will be required to pay that fee directly to the operator prior to the flight.

A $2 per pound cargo fee applies and will be charged by the operator prior to your flight.

The Operator Levy is an additional fee charged by the activity provider as as tourism marketing fee and carbon tax fee.

Advance Booking

This tour requires bookings to be made at least 7 days prior to departure and requires a minimum of 3 guests per booking. Please contact us at (403) 986-6190 for a last minute booking or single guests.

Cancellation Policy

All bookings are non-refundable but we will offer you a credit for a future adventure if you cancel a minimum of 72 hours prior to departure.


Waivers are required for all participants and will need to be signed at the Rockies Heli Canada base prior to your tour.
