Make the most of your weekend and go play outside!

Thanks to the 10+ cm of fresh snow we got this week things are look great for the weekend. Plus it looks like another sunny weekend with temperatures around -10C. The forecast might be wrong but there is some colder weather headed our way for the beginning of next week so you might as well make the most of this weekend.

Book your seat now and kick off the weekend with a day trip to Sunshine Village on Saturday.

Castle Mountain Resort is reporting 10-15 cm of fresh snow today. We’ve had a pretty lucky track record of great snow days so far at Castle and there’s still room for this Sunday’s trip.

The long range forecast from snow-forecast.com is calling for snow later in the week and we’re off to Sunshine Village on Friday February 7. Plus it’s a PD day for the Red Deer Public Schools and if you’re 13 or older you can travel on your own. All we need is the waiver signed before we go.

On Saturday we’re taking a group of lucky Kraze 101.3 FM listeners to Lake Louise. All the seats are booked already and it should be another great day!

Have you tried snowshoeing before? We’re heading out to Siffleur Falls on Sunday for an easy day of snowshoeing and there’s still room. Don’t have snowshoes? Check out Valhalla Pure in Red Deer. They have a great selection and offer snowshoe rentals.
