While the late snow and warm weather we’ve had so far this winter has been great to play outside, it’s made it hard to enjoy many traditional winter activities in Central Alberta.

Medicine Lodge Ski Club relies 100% on natural snow which means that unfortunately they weren’t able to open for the Christmas holiday this year. Thanks to last week’s snow fall, they’re now open for the season!

We managed to sneak in an afternoon of family skiing on Sunday. Conditions were great, thanks to the fresh snow and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer day.

With the kids getting older we’re finally getting more runs in each day. Scarlett loved the easy runs on the lower half of the t-bar while Tristan is starting to enjoy the longer runs from the top.
