We’re excited to partner with Tourism Red Deer to once again offer a series of tours featuring Red Deer’s signature experiences. We’ve made some changes to the Experience Experts program for the 5th edition:
- Shorter tours with more dates
- 3 to 4 activities per tours so that you have more time to experience them
- More itineraries showcasing our local agri and food options, outdoor recreation opportunities, and festivals.
The Showcase Red Deer tours are open to everybody involved in growing our destination. Whether you’re working the front desk or managing an attraction, sharing the Red Deer story on your blog or creating experiences for visitors, we want you to be our guest for the day.

The Waskasoo Park Bike Tour kicked off the 2018 tour series and National Tourism Week. Despite a rainy start of the day, we had a great time learning about coffee, exploring the trails and enjoying lunch on top of the bird blind at the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary.read more

This is a different type of tour than what we’ve done in past years. We’re heading out for a morning walk of downtown, looking at public art and art galleries, getting a chance to get hands-on and maybe a little dirty working on our own masterpiece before heading out into Waskasoo Park for a different type of experience combining art, local cultures and nature.read more
