Fares, Prices and Availability

All fares and prices quoted are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed and the deposit or payment is received. Adventures can be withdrawn without notice. Availability is not confirmed until a deposit or payment has been received and confirmation is provided by Pursuit Adventures.

Payments & Cancellations

Payments can be made online or in-person at Basecamp + Cafe.

For regularly scheduled day trips, payments are non-refundable but a credit will be offered for a future trip if cancelled a minimum of 24 hours prior to departure. We reserve the right to require pre-payment on all day trips.

For adventures including overnight stays a deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is required a minimum of 30 days prior to departure unless stated otherwise for a specific adventure. In the case that the balance owing payment is not received 30 days prior to departure your booking will be cancelled and no refunds will be issued. Payment is due upon booking for all adventures departing within 30 days. Cancellation up to 31 days prior to departure will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of departure will forfeit the full amount. 

Pursuit Adventures reserve the right to cancel tours if insufficient bookings have been received prior to departure. In the event that a tour is cancelled by us for this reason, confirmed bookings will be offered an alternate date. If no suitable alternate date is found, they will receive a full refund.

In certain circumstances Pursuit Adventures or its suppliers may require changes to the services they provide. These changes may apply to adventure dates, prices, inclusions, coverage, age requirements or other parts of the adventure and Pursuit Adventures reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service, tour, ticket or product that you have booked at any time for any reason. Where feasible, advance notice will be provided to allow for amendments and changes to the booking. If you are dissatisfied with the alternatives offered, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the unused adventures.

Pursuit Adventures is not responsible for any additional costs associated with delays due to situations outside of its control, such as weather conditions or highway closures.


For some activities you will receive a personalized Pursuit Adventures voucher. You must provide the original voucher in order to redeem your adventure. Those bookings cannot be honored or redeemed without presenting a valid voucher.

Your voucher can be confiscated and immediately cancelled without refund if it has been altered, if the information does not match your Photo ID or if fraud is suspected.

Passenger or Itinerary Change

All passenger or itinerary change request must be made by phone or email.

For day adventures, you can change the passenger name & information or transfer your booking to an alternate adventure up to 24 hours prior to departure at no cost.

For overnight adventures, you can transfer your booking to an alternate adventure up to 30 days prior to departure at no cost. You can change the passenger name & information up to 15 days prior to departure at no cost. Passenger name and information changes within 14 days of departure, if authorized by Pursuit Adventures, will incur a $30 administration fee.

If you make changes to passenger or itinerary you may incur additional fees based on the availability, pricing of the alternate adventure chosen, change of occupancy or any other fees charged by Pursuit Adventures suppliers.

Discount and special offer pricing may be forfeited if you make changes to passengers or the itinerary after booking.

Certain adventures, tickets and activities cannot be changed due to requirements of Pursuit Adventures suppliers. All changes are based on availability and Pursuit Adventures cannot guarantee the success of any change request.

Rooming Arrangements

Most adventures offer varying rates based on room occupancy. All participants sharing a room must be included in the same booking to take advantage of these rates. For group bookings, the organizer is responsible to make the rooming arrangements based on the occupancy quoted.

Passports, Visas & Insurance

It is the responsibility of all passengers, regardless of nationality and destination to check with the appropriate consulate for current entry requirements. As entry requirements can change without notice, Pursuit Adventures recommends that you re-check with the appropriate consulate closer to the departure date.

Pursuit Adventures strongly recommends that you obtain a comprehensive Travel Insurance Policy prior to departure. If you cancel your trip or significantly alter the travel dates many policies will reimburse the cost of cancellation fees and related expenses.

NSF Cheques

A one time $40 charge will be applied to all returned cheques. Returned payments may result in your booking being cancelled without refunds.

GST, Tax and Fees

Unless otherwise stated, GST is not included in our prices. All park fees, tourism levies on accommodation and room taxes are included.

Damage Deposits

Tour participants are responsible for any damages or incidental charges to accommodation properties and for any damage to equipment while on our tours. All participants are responsible to provide a credit card deposit to the accommodation provider at check-in. Please contact us for more details.


All participants must sign a waiver prior to departure. Additional waivers for specific activities may be required by third parties.

Unused Activities, Modifications & Amendments

The adventures are based around travel which can involve risk and be unpredictable. Pursuit Adventures cannot guarantee departure or arrival times. Weather and conditions may also change quickly, resulting in activities being substituted or cancelled. Road closures may also lead to tours being cancelled or rerouted. All adventures are sold as a package and, except in the case of some add-on activities, cannot be separated into individual components for refunds.

Undesirable Behaviour

Pursuit Adventures reserves the right to terminate a client’s participation in any activity or tour when he/she engages in behavior that is deemed by its employees to be unsafe for any of the participants (including oneself), causes damages to our property or the property of our suppliers, refuses to sign the required waivers and/or is acting in a way that prevents the other participants from enjoying their tours. In the event that participation is terminated no refunds will be issued and the participant will be responsible for all costs associated with its return to the departure point.


Pursuit Adventures guides must be notified of all injuries while on tour (whether they happened during a guided activity or not). When required, the guides will assist EMS or the facility’s first aid provider. An ambulance will be called if transportation to a hospital is required. The guides will arrange a pickup from the hospital if possible. If a longer stay is required, the guides will be available to make arrangements for lodging and transportation but the guest will be responsible for all costs associated with these arrangements.


Please contact us if our services did not meet your expectations. Refunds will only be issued at Pursuit Adventures discretion, based on written communication received.


Charters and Private Tours

Weather Delays and Force Majeure

Pursuit Adventure & Travel is not responsible for any additional costs associated with delays due to situations outside of its control, such as weather conditions, highway closures or mechanical issues. Our drivers must comply with the hours of services requirements and as a result of delays an additional night may be required.

In the event that, in our opinion, the trip must be cancelled prior to departure a full refund will be issued.

In the event that, in the opinion of the driver, the itinerary must be changed after departure the following applies:

  • If we return to the pick up location within 4 hours of departure, a credit will be issued for the full amount paid;
  • If an additional night is required, the client is responsible for the driver’s extra hotel night. No additional charges apply.

We cannot guarantee arrival times. Due to the potential for delays we recommend that you allow ample time in your itinerary. For airport shuttles we recommend that you plan to be at the airport a minimum of 2 hours prior to your flight. We are not responsible for any cost or liability incurred as a result of delays.

Itinerary Change

All itinerary change request must be made to our customer service representatives prior to departure or to the driver once the trip has started. Itinerary changes, if feasible, may incur additional fees. This includes weather related changes made at the request of the client.

In the event of a flight delay for airport shuttles, the client is responsible to inform us as early as possible. Pursuit Adventure & Travel will wait for up to 3 hours after the scheduled arrival unless prior arrangements are made.


For overnight stays, the client is responsible for providing private accommodation for the driver and/or guide.
